Ministry Spotlight: Monthly Men’s Prayer Group

At the recent Catholic Men’s Conference, we encouraged you to pick ONE thing that could help you grow in faith. Maybe this could be your one thing.

Laymen at Immaculate Conception Parish Springfield MO host a prayer meeting on the last Sunday of each month in the community room. You can join this group or learn how to start one at your parish.

They pray the rosary at 6:30 pm. At 7 pm they watch a short presentation on a topic that relates to Catholic men and discuss the topic among the group. Finally, the men go around a mention one prayer intention they would like the group to pray for during the following month.

Those who attend build friendships and gain a supportive network of men who pray for each other.
